Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because sites set cookies visitors would not choose. This one sets none for tracking, runs no analytics, and embeds nothing from an advertising network. There is nothing to consent to, so we do not interrupt you to ask.

All of these are localStorage values, stored only in your browser. They are never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Actual cookies
- None for readers. Reading this site sets no cookie.
- One for editors. Signing in to the staff area at
/adminsets a session cookie, marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict. It is deleted when you sign out.
Third parties
Fonts are self-hosted, so no font provider sees your request. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no social embed. Our hosting provider sits in front of the site and processes requests to deliver it, which necessarily involves your IP address; see privacy.
