Editorial replies are separate
If you submitted a story or a response, unsubscribing does not stop an editor replying to you about it. That is a conversation you started, not marketing. To stop that too, say so in your message and we will close the thread.
Removing your data entirely
Unsubscribing stops the email. We keep a minimal record that your address asked not to be contacted, so a future import cannot add you back. To have everything removed, make a data request.
